I hope Richard will indulge my posting of a link, but here is the band my 14 year old is in, performing on Saturday at the Portsmouth Music Festival.

The judges awarded them a merit, which is fantastic. Young Emsworth in on the bass.

Well done Henry! I have a Thomas of 14 who is a bass player too. Keep at it and you can look after your dad in his doteage. G

I wouldn't go that far!! I was very surprised how well they performed, having not heard the whole band play that song together. I so wish I had an ounce of musical talent, but it's great to be able to encourage the boy. If only I could get him playing more Smiths....
