Simple playlist generator n-stream can find

Hello all,

I have now almost finished ripping the full CD collection. I think I am up to about 1200 albums which is an amazing amount of choice to have at my finger tips and is greatly increasing the range of what I listen to.

One frustration is the inability to build playlists that n-stream can simply find. I have tried e-lyric, plug player etc but find them relatively buggy and you cannot just start a playlist and switch the ipad off. I have also messed with having itunes do it (really messy) and a bit with j river and media monkey.

All of these solutions are hard work. The closest that I found was Asset Control, but frustratingly there is no ability to save the playlist you build.

Has anyone else found a good solution?

Nothing fantastic but I create my playlists with J River and save in a directory that Asset can see and hence I can access via n-Stream.

Trevor (Naim) mentioned in a press article that he is beta testing some Naim playlist software that will be available for Naim customers who don't have a Naim server - or at least that was my interpretaton. So hopefully we will be able to create dynamic playlist via n-Stream in the not too distant future.

PlugPlayer works with the NDX but isn't an especially joyous experience. ELyric is nicer but fundmentally flawed, as you have noticed.
