iTunes 10.6 Scrolling Bug

Posted by: J.N. on 19 March 2012

In my music library, clicking to scroll up or down doesn't work. I can drag the scroll bar, and the mouse wheel scrolls the list, but a click above or below the scroll icon doesn't work, as it used to.

Weirdly; it does work if 'Store' is selected.

I gather it's a known bug with v 10.6.

Strange isn't it. I'm not experiencing any scrolling problems with 10.6

Yes, I noticed that too John. A bit irritating when you've a large music collection to go through. I also don't like the fact that the vertical scroll bar disappears when you're not using it & you've got to click on where it's supposed to be before you can use it again. I think this was the same in the previous version.

I can't say I've noticed any changes (10.6.40).

It appears to be a known 'issue'/bug with v 10.6

Dependent upon one's chosen layout perhaps?

There was a problem with itunes crashing after the upgrade to 10.6 (including me and 1000s of others when I 'searched' on the problem). Others were completely unaffected and I don't think Apple yet know why.

I had to dump 10.6 and re-load 10.5.3 - kerfuffle.

An issue affecting those using Lion? All is fine with Snow Leopard.

I suspected the opposite - I still use Snow Leopard. Very odd.
