Rush Snakes And Arrows 24/96

Having had a bit of down time I finally got around to ripping Snakes And Arrows to 24/96 form the DVD version. The extra clarity is something approaching a sledgehammer. The tracking and mixing is complex and the 16/44 rendition really doesn't come close to fully presenting it. Which brings me to the main point of this post. I can hear every clipped note, every instance where the level hits the limit (yes really) and every jagged brick in the wall atonal noise you get when you mix multiple tracks together and turn up the burner.

How can these thoughtful and intelligent musicians not know that their back catalogue of over ten years is utter shit? Have they gone THAT deaf? Such a waste.
