Interface on my computer

Posted by: Robbert on 12 April 2012

I control my super uniti with the n-stream app on my iPod. But will there be a program wich I can install in my computer(iMac) ? Then I can control my system from my computer.

Where can I find this program?

Same question but different... the web interface for the HDX / US is way better than the nserve app (imho).  Wouldn't it be great to have a web interface for the NDx family?

(after all not everyone has an i-phone ori-pad, but everyone has a computer with a browser and lots of us even have laptops that we can sit with in our listening chair)

There is an app which I run on my MacBook Air called QuteControl, don't know if it would work for you. It is a bit clunky but is quite useful.

I did buy the qutecontrol app. But no connection.

How can i make the right connection? I did insert the right IP number.

What number else can i writing down?

Hi I'm not technical but it's the IP address of the Uniti. Mine loses the address occassionally.

How can you do that on the best way

Hi there!

I would be very interested to understand what you mean by "clunky". ;-)

It would be great if you could please let me know via the support website:

I am checking forums too but I do not always spot all feedback.

QuteControl is only a small project and updates take a little while but I do listen to feedback.

I understand that the lack of auto discovering a device seems to be an issue for some people but I have not figured it out yet. It is on my list though.

I also do get a lot of blame for things that are not in my control (for instance that only one App at a time can connect to a Uniti - either the iPhone or Qutecontrol but not both) or the overall speed.

Please get in touch with me directly if you think there is a problem.

Thanks

You can either use Address Reservation, to reserve an IP address for the MAC address of each of your devices, or use a static addres; these options should be available within your router options. The former is preferable as you can leave all of your devices on DHCP,  with static routes you have to manually set the allocated IP address on each device.

It works very fine. App on iPod + App on the iMac together. Thanks
