Unitiserve cannot see the NAS

Help please (Again)

I have a Unitiserve SSD connected on the network with a Qnap NAS. In the Unitiserve interface, I have gone to, 'System' to 'Network Shares', Manage Shares. then a list of NAS should come up, but it say's, "No Network Shares Located". I have enabled UPnp on NAS and given everyone permission to access NAS, even created a new user NSSRV ****, but that doesn't work either.

I thought my NAS would just show up instantly? Anyone lend a hand please...

Factory Restore does it again!!

I have just done a factory retore of the NAS... Guess what? The Unitiserve found the NAS instantly!

Ripped Viva La Vida in three minutes!

Sound is excellent!

Fantastic piece of kit!!

Just put a linear power supply on it and you're done

I had a similar issue when I updated the DSM software on my Synology 212 from ver. 3.2 to ver. 4.  Solved it by checking permissions, a reset and finally copying all my FLAC files back onto the NAS from backup.  A real pain but it worked!

Great...A power supply is next, but a holiday may, or may not come first!!

I have some FLAC files to add to the NAS which I downloaded from a well known Hi-Res site, which I hope won't give me any grief!

Should be no issues - I have a wide range of Hi-Res FLAC files (up to 24bit/192KHz) that all stream fine from my NAS to my NDX and Pioneer SCLX85 systems.
