Uniti / Unitiserve

Thinking seriously about adding a unity serve to sit alongside the unity ( this upnp streaming thing is driving me mad! ).. Question is as follows...does the unitiserve have to be connected to the network directly ( for album info etc) or is it able to access the net via the unity ?

Has to be connected to the network. The Unity can't feed it anything, only the other way round.

For optimum performance & to enable the unitiserve to retrieve album info / artwork when ripping Cds it will need to be connected to the network (via Ethernet router)
