IMAX

Thought I'd just air an observation.

I have now been to an IMAX twice, once at Waterloo and this afternoon at Wimbledon.

The first experience was gob-smacking, even though the film was poor; the second? Good.

The difference?

At Wimbledon Odeon have put an IMAX screen in a normal cinema setting, with the seats banking back as usual.

At Waterloo the seats are steeply banked, so that you feel that you are sitting on top of the screen, and it fills your field of vision.

In future I will go up to town.
