Gigabit lan

Sorry if this has been already asked.
I would like to know if Naim uniti support Gigabit ethernet lan ?
Thanks in advance...
My Superuniti is connected to a Gigabit LAN, but only connects at 100. I understand that 100 is perfectly adequate for even high resolution audio streaming. I'm guessing the Uniti will only connect at 100 also.
Saw a thread elsewhere, Naim does ethernet at 100 MBs
Hi
I have previously asked this question on the forum and received a reply by naims technical guy that 100 mbit is the speed used.

Hi, Naim support 10/100 Mbit connections. 1iGbit LAN coonecyions will (unless you tell it not to) negotiate to 100 Mbit connections. Most consumer LAN equipment struggles to get near 100Mbit throughput for any length of time, even equipment that can sync at 1Gbps.
There are effectively a few parameters to consider that effect LAN performance and it's not just to do with the LAN link speed (100Mbps/1Gbps ) etc.
1) there is link speed
2) data throughput
3) duplex (single or full - although 1Gbps is only specced for full, switches support full duplex, hubs or wifi (effectively) only support half duplex)
4) shaping or profiling (QoS). It is this last point that is essential for heavy duty LAN performance, but is usually omitted for Home LANs as the LAN load is usually trivial, or of one predominant load type.
Your Naim requirement when it senses a LAN connection will try and negotiate with the connected switch port a 100Mbps/full duplex link layer connection. This is fine for your 1 Gbps aware switch port.
