I think it was on this forum that I saw someone else had just purchased this album. I realised I had nothing in my collection by Art Pepper, I did a bit of research and decided I too would give this a try. I'm rather looking forward to when this arrives.

It was me, Clive, being in your situation of not having anything by Mr. Pepper. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed, the supporting cast is top notch as well.

Just ordered a used (like new) XRCD version of Bill Evans Interplay for $12.98. I almost clicked on the next offer of a used-very good condition offer from Japan with the very modest asking price of:

$1,010.13

+ $2.95 shipping + $0.00 estimated tax

Vive la difference !

We just saw these guys live and they were truly outstanding.    The CD is excellent, too.

It's a very hectic day for me today, but comforting to  know i can sit back and relax this evening with this recently discovered Telemann treat, composition apparently 'lost to the world for centuries' so should be fine to leave by the CDS player for just a few more hours : )
