Hi [@mention:73370968263941422]
I will be taking delivery of an Oppo 205 (one of the very last) in a few days' time. I'll be using it primarily as a CD, SACD and universal music player. I will also be using it to watch movies as well, of course!
I have a moviephile friend who bought one last year. He was kind enough to lend it to me for a few days so I could evaluate it as a disc player; I was blown away by it and started saving up. Then in April Oppo announced they were ceasing production of their BD players but I a couple of days ago managed to find a UK stockist who had a few of the last batch coming in and I pressed the button.
I'll share my impressions once it arrives and it's had time to bed in.
Nice one! Yes please do share your impressions later on.

Good choice groover, I hope that he or she liked it. You probably know that the rest of their catalogue is pretty good too (excluding their latest Synthesis which is a shameless rehash of previous material), my favourite is Fallen.
Some second hand CD's arrived in the mail this morning:
Took his complete recordings on DG
13 CD box set. Gérard Caussé - Viola Legend, The Erato Years
