What's the album like Gordon? I used to have her first couple many years ago but they got sold in my usual 6 monthly clearout.

I simply love the album! It is basically songs from her album "These Friends of Mine" recorded intimately with some 'friends' guesting (Sufjan Stevens, Denison Witmer and Sheila Saputo), covers and intimate chat featuring Rosie's alter ego Shelia. A very short album but it has had some serious play on my turntable. Recommended.

On Spotify btw.

Fantastic album and a definate step forward from 'A Time For Everything'. FTWR is full of energy and foward momentum. You do really get a sense of falling into wonderland. Buy it.. Winker

See above for Yerman Trio. Piano driven velocity. Love it.

The Celine Trio album is without doubt one of my top 5 albums of 2010. Where ECM releases are sometimes introspective and low key, ACT seem to focus on releasing vivacious albums full of life and joy. Recommended.

As to the Cronholm album, mmm, not to sure really. Don't get me wrong it is perfectly lovely but I can't really see it getting much airplay at Chez Voltaire. It's not a bad album, far from it, there are just better albums out there and so little time.

As far as I know, Jeff, Stefan and I are the only ones who are enjoying this magnificent solo piano album.
