When I played some Hackett last night fairly loud, the sound was totally and utterly inadequate compared to the gig. I loved that feel of the bass coming through and that hall shaking. A week of that though and that would be the end of music listening!

I don't think any home system could replicate the sound volume and force we heard that night. Does make you wonder what amps etc they have in the hall and why it cannot be done in the home.

OK the nerd in me has contacted the Komedia and Brighton Centre for info on their PAs.



I suppose we were still getting a lot of the bass from the PA, but there seemed a lot coming over the stage, that was probably more imagined than actual though.
That gut buster bass is kind of addictive though , isn't it?
