On original vinyl. Such a relief to hear decent music again after all that appalling punk cr*p in the late 1970s

Tend to prefer his earlier albums Jeff.

You know him much better than I, and with the "Essentials" discs I have some of that earlier stuff. That being said, on first listen I thought this very, very good - perhaps not his best, but well above average by most any other standards.

Arc (Ian Boddy & Mark Shreeve) 'Church'. I notice that Burning Shed are now stocking the Arc albums, and some other Ian Boddy. Would be nice if they also stoked the Redshift albums, may happen soon of they have ventured into Ian Boddy's material, who is now a member of Redshift.

Now they really were a great live band in their heyday. Their March '99 gig at Cambridge Cornex I'd put in my top 5. Superb. And we found ourselves standing next to Dave Brock.
