Having enjoyed this on CD and blu-ray, thought I'd get it on vinyl too. After looking on numerous websites where it's available at silly prices (£60 - £70), found it on diverse for £30ish delivered. Cleaned it and it's sounding excellent tonight with some Merlot!

You cleaned it with Merlot??

No, but it's definitely sounding better because of it, after another long (cold) day at work !

Goerne's earlier traversal through Die schöne Müllerin is more experimental and controversial than his remake for Harmonia Mundi. Both are brilliant, but if I had to choose, this would be the one.

How do you post a picture?

right click on whatever image you want to add from the web and select click "save image location" or such like

select the add image box 3rd from right above you when posting

paste image location in the box that appears



Just finished dvd box of Life on mars (what a great series)
seemed the only logical choice afterwards
