Any good?

Yes, pretty good. I have an original issue CD that is good and you can really crank it up, but first impressions are that this is better.

Scratch this comment. Just shows how the memory can play tricks with an album you haven't played for a while. The original CD is better now that I've had a chance to compare. Some significant adjustment for volume matching is necessary, after which the impression is of up-sampled redbook not a genuine 24/96. I've emailed the boutique for their comments.

Be careful out there.

The Gaucho fares much better, but I think they could have used a better master for that. The one they have used is by no means bad, so you do get some benefit. But it could have been even better.

Pat, do you have "Seya"? It was my favourite album of last year. I also saw her live in February which was great.

Hi Mark,

I just have this one. I will need to pick up "Seya." Just hearing this album, I can imagine her show was full of energy.

Dave Brubeck - Jazz Impressions of Eurasia. A recent arrival, following hearing a couple of these numbers being played by his sons at a recent gig. I already had the Impressions of Japan, but not this one.
