Hi Ian. Had this recommended by Munch a while back. Top class is it not? Going to play it now too as you've reminded me. Paul.

I'll join you two - I've been neglecting Natasha lately.

Just been playing same remaster - one on Cisco Gold CD, one on Cisco 45RPM Vinyl of Famous Blue Raincoat. CD sounded best by a good margin. I have a way to go on my TT to get there.

bought this today but too dark for my tastes. I was reaching for the pills and the blades when concrete walls came on. Will stick to The XX. Why the comparison i do not know. So Different!

Comparison - they were both trendy pop or similar category albums in 2009 with black and white covers Winker And I bought them at the same shop, same day. One is better than the other - we just don't agree on which! I have to say I am a bit perplexed as to why XX is considered by many to be the best album of 09 - that was Tomasz Stanko Quartet - Dark Eyes Big Grin

Cheers

I hear what you are saying Winker I think it's my poor appreciation of this style of music where i get lost. Hope you enjoy both. Must say i thought the vocals were very Bush and Bjork.... and some of the beats were very TRICKY

By the way Paul - I have the DCC's of Doors Morrison Hotel and Soft Parade - need to compare versus the box set and will let you know.

Lontano, i need this pain to be over . Please let me know!!!!!! Big Grin

My favourite Doors are probably the same as most: ST, Hotel and woman. If the DCC's are better than the perceptions discs please let me know. I already have the Hotel AF which sounds great also.

Have you heard the Mike Snow album?

I remember attending a 10000 Maniacs gig when I was at Uni. One of the guys I was with swore blind that Natalie was eyeing him for the duration of the set. As obvious a case of wishful thinking as I've ever come across.

(Obviously, she was looking at me the whole time)

Never seen her live apart from the dvd's I have and am really up for this.
