Maybe Droodzilla will come along with how he does it, but I am yet to get further than 3/4 of the way through disc 1. I have tried quite a few times now but I guess it is just not for me. I have never liatened to disc 2 and 3. Maybe this is one that would be better for the cd changer in the car.

I loved her first album, "Milk Eyed Mender", but couldn't quite fully enjoy "Ys", but this one is sounding very good so far. I'm listening to "Disc 1" for the second time.

I've listened to "Disc 1" several times and really like it. I'm going to repeat for a few days and move on to "Disc 2". Great music from Ms. Newsom!

Raya Yarbrough - Raya Yarbrough
Love her voice whatever she sings. Although the majority of songs on this album are her own composition.

In the car to work... Based on this evidence, I would love to hear more Beethoven from this pianist. Somewhat similar to Paul Lewis in scope and execution, but no copy.

Wow Karl... you seem to be as much of a Pogo / Kovacevich nut as myself, and your name suggests we drive the same brand of car. Can't be coincidence! Winker

Hi Flettster,

Noticed you playing these a bit lately. In case you didn't know, they released a new mixtape as a free download a few days ago - kills.

I haven't heard it yet, though I did notice that 'Ecstasy' from the above album is Weezy's 'Lollipop' with their words on top. (I probably shouldn't admit to knowing that.)
