Daddys taxi service has just had a shite 2 hour journey back from Heathrow, so this seemed to hit the spot, "I'm Alright Now" :-

Also class IMO.

Oliver,
Just had a look at my copies.
I have that. Cool
Is it worth much?
It came out of a hotel juke box.
Stu

They are starting to become very collectable but go for no more than $15-20. Keep it a little longer and you might have a real treasure. Winker

I had forgotten how marvelous this is. Will listen to the whole recording later. Last time I listened to it right through was 10 years ago right after performing it in Ripple Parish Church near Tewksbury in 2000! It is one of the few Gardiner performance on disc that I really enjoy. At the time I did not care for it as a piece! That has changed, as it seems ideal now!!!!

ATB from George

That is one of my favourites too George! Mozart sure knew how to compose the most beautiful of sacred musik!
If you ever want to try (imho) an even better version (as if there could be)... Maria Stader grows angle wings and sings her heart out in the version with Ferenc Fricsay conducting the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra!

And the included Maurerische Trauermusik is good enough to die for! : )
