This is getting good - both Stefan and Mark in the music room Smile

Stefan - just checked and I have four of the Fresu 5 series discs so have ordered the missing one. Am going to play when I go out driving later today. It is a good series.

Oliver,

The sound is excellent, the playing is just so so (to my taste). I am left with a feeling that he is rushing through the notes. Same with his other disc "Duke Ellington", too fast for me.

Stefan,

Unfortunately, I am still stuck with only one fifth of the Fresu's 5 (Kosmopolites). Do they vary in ensemble and style, and if they do, which one would you recommend?

What are Fresu's 5, please (assume we're talking about Paolo)?

Nigel - just to explain the Paolo a little more. Five members in the band - Paolo Fresu, Roberto Cipelli, Ettore Fioravanti, Tino Tracanna and Attilio Zanchi. Each album is the quintet playing the music of one of the members of the quintet.

Sounds interesting, and all available on the JPC website. If I wanted to try just one first, where's the best place to start?
