Nigel - yes a lovely album with the tuneful bass of Danielsson.

Mozdzer is a super pianist. He plays on many of the Zbigniew Preisner albums and then David Gilmour asked him to play on his Gdandsk Live album as well. I have some other albums worth checking out with him on - here is one. It is an excellent disc.

A quick trip back in the time machine with Darude: Sandstorm.

I find the Sandstorm video shot in and about Helsinki rather welcome on a cold UK winter night.

Thanks for the recommendation. I didn't know Mozdzer had recorded in a trio. It's tested my googling skills to the limit but I finally found a site I can order it from (along with another album by the same trio).

Nigel - the trio album The Time is good as well. I had to buy from a Polish web shop a few years ago and with my limited Polish skills was delighted when they arrived through the letterbox a week later.

Who is Gottfried Muffat?
I suppose you think of Gottlieb Muffat, the son of Georg Muffat.
