Drove to work yesterday with the iPod on random and listened to "Stella The Artist" which seemed to originate from this album. I decided to give him another chance.
This morning I listened to the rest and I can say I'm over the irritation and starting to like it more and more. "Breathe" is my favorite for now Cool

I'm still in the irritation phase.

I guess that's just what it is: a phase...
Sometimes you hear a track you otherwise dislike, but in that current emotional context you just get it! Roll Eyes Winker

I have to say I find this much more satisfying that the more recent Genesis Material.

Reminds me of doing my homework back in school days.

Nigel - I do not know the Ramon album. Is it a good listen?

This one on Naim label is and recommended to the usual European jazz suspects (even though they come from the land down under)

Yes, very good cuban-tinged piano trio. It won't change your life but it's a worthy addition to any collection.

As is this (now playing):

Don't have that one either. They are both on spotify so will have a listen. The ACT catalogue is now very sizeable and substantial.
