I have a couple of his studio recordings, but I've never heard this one before.

Is it worth buying it?

Haven't played this one very often but I'm starting to think I may have unjustly neglected it.

Yngwie J. Malmsteen - Odyssey

A rather dog-eared copy, sourced from the much-missed All Round Record Store in Wolverton. Never did much for me on the old system, but it's put a damn great smile on my face this evening.

Challenging, but well worth. Late night music in my books…

cheers

On my list, Stefan. I listened to his Pasolini CD last night. I don't play it often and it always seems to take a while to get going, but I ended up really enjoying it. Look forward to hearing the new one.

I really did not get on with the first Battaglia album as Haim well knows but enjoyed this new one a lot more on first listen. Still not easy listening by any stretch - I think enjoyment of this music is quite mood dependent. Think I will give it a late night spin.

I prefer this one over the Pasolini one, too… Just a bit more "consumable"

cheers

Sadly, the 10pm curfew, necessary to keep the peace with my neighbour, has arrived. No more music for me tonight :-(

Sounds like you need a good headphone setup(unless you already have one). This would be a good headphone album.

I don't like headphones. They make my ears hot!

I'm with you on that.

BTW, there should be no curfew on Fridays and Saturdays. Winker

It's a double and some great music, I really like it.
