disc 2. Very differnt from disc 1. Wonderful stuff.

disc 1 is faulty on tracks 1 and 3 so maybe a return.

Nanci Griffith with Emmylou Harris and written by Julie Gold..'Goodnight New York'.

I am in awe of the power and beauty that women like these three bring to music.

PS-one of the best albums of all time imho...

it's from Rhino. apart from disc 2 tracks the soundis fab. The packaging and book are fab also. Can be found here in UK and also from USA. It is well worth it. I love his Atlantic years.

Thanks. I have been picking up Ray's Atlantic albums as well. This looks like a great set.

BTW, you may be intersested in this set. A friend of mine has it on perma-loan. Roll Eyes 8 disc set from Atlantic records - Atlantic Rhythm & Blues 1947-1974
