Laura Shay

enjoying this album a lot, found her as a back-up singer on a track on a Bill Deasy album, searched and discovered she has some very nice stuff on her own.

I really like Eberhard Weber's albums. This is a new one to me but already a favorite.

Lontano, would I be overstepping my understanding of the music to suggest musique concrète?

last up

And next,

First time I've heard 'I'm just a singer in a rock 'n' roll band' awesome rock song.

Along with the fabulous guitar tune, ' the fire in your eyes'; my favourite Moody's tracks to date.

Cheers for the heads up those who did. I'm obliged.

That's a bit dissapointing Stu, as you say the album cover is excellent. I'm going to try to get a print.

I'll listen on you tube before I buy it though.

Cheers. Paul.

Not sure what it would be called, but it is Eberhard solo on the bass and building music up with loops etc. I saw him do this in concert. Good stuff. This was my first Eberhard album and is one of my faves. I am going to play it now.

Well I enjoy Ovo cos Paul Buchanan sings on it Winker

A bigger crime than PG's latest is of course John Mayer's 'Battle Studies'. He should be tried by the musicians union for Atrocities to songwriting and not supplying a sick bag inside his LP. Oh and a refund voucher Big Grin

Denis - OVO is a good album but at the bottom of Peter's list which makes it high up on other lists, IMHO Cool Some excellent songs on it.

I have to agree with your Mayer comment.
