Never really took to him and as for it being jazz well maybe this new sanitised jazz that seems to be making a play for the middle of the road adult buyers.

Another shitty drive home from Dover, which at least gave me the chance to play this lot.
Alanis Morissette - MTV Unplugged. Just fabulous, I quite often play this on the way home.
Blackfield - Blackfield. Not a duff track in sight. I think this is as good as anything Steve Wilson has done.
My favourite album of hers.
David Sylvian - Brilliant Trees. Brilliant album!
Their first and best album, IMO. I really didn't like their later "poppy" stuff but this was new, raw and ahead of it's time. At least they still play a fair few from this live now. As a side note, they do put on a very good live show.
Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle. Unlikely to win any new fans on this Forum, but of its' genre possibly unsurpassed. Great stuff, and when I'm in the mood these two come out as well....................
Finished the drive off with this........

I have to admit I have "jumped on the bandwagon" somewhat here, but better late than never. Sometimes one regrets not being there first time around, but then there is the joy of discovering such great music at all.

Recording: Wien, May 1967
Digital Mastering and restoration: February 1996
[ADD] Tudor @ 1996 2 cd-album
From the sleeve-notes... "A realization of the complete original text as handed down by sources requires recourse to a second keyboard instrument, which is here played by Friedericke Resele, a student of Ahlgrimm. Both instruments and the pedal are products of the Ammer Firm, Passau (from 1936)."
