I was learning the Lyric Pieces before I was able to visit Norway for the first time. There is just something supremely special about this music and I will always have a special fondness for Norway, Edvard Grieg and his music. Also one of my favorite recordings. Highly recommended.

Here is an excellent Grieg played by the Norwegian pianist, Havard Gimse, on the Naim label:
