Pay heed to KK irwan as he probably has one of the better acosutic blues album collections on here. That's if you are into acosutic blues and his good lady hasn't sold all his discs to pay for his new house.

Will do so Ewemon. Just trying to keep up at the moment. There is just so much good stuff coming in on these boards. Big Grin

Just finished listening to this:

Lee Sankey's 'My Day is Just Beginning'.

Blues plus bits of other stuff thrown in the mix.

Whoops, forgot to include details...!

Johny Cash - American Recordings VI: Ain't no Grave..
Strange Boys - Be Brave
Marina & the diamonds - The Family Jewels
Brian Jonestown Massacre - Who killed Sgt Pepper?

All new releases tommorow.

The Johny Cash is great but sad. This is album is a long way from the swaggering self confident Johnny Cash of his youth. His voice is fragile and his lyrics reek of defeat. This makes it all the more worth buying.

Strange boys needs another listen.

Marina and the diamonds is great but try to hear some tracks first imho to see if it is your cup of tea.

Brian Jonestown Massacre is a really good album full of the sort of post punk primitivism that infused Kings of Leon-Only by the night.

I find both, the German and the JPN target outstanding - the German target is still pretty affordable.
