I don't much like the musical remixes but the cover is nice. One of those discs stuck somewhere in the back of the collection. Maybe I should try your proper version.

Seite 1:
Italienisches Konzert F-dur BWV 971

Capriccio B-dur BWV 992

Seite 2:
Partita h-moll BWV 831

4 Duette
nr. 1 e-moll BWV 802
nr. 2 F-dur BWV 803
nr. 3 G-dur BWV 804
nr. 4 a-moll BWV 805

Isolde Ahlgrimm cembalo

Philips LP (p) 1976

Very dynamic and fluid performance that i find very entertaining, also the excellent recording of this allows easy appreciation of the fine quality instrument used. It has the most wonderful 'zinging' sound : )
The sleeve-notes do not make it clear which harpsichord she played on this record, but the front cover picture shows a detail of a harpsichord of Burkhard Shudi, London 1744 (out of the collection of the music department of the Haags Gemeentemuseums.)

Well, OK, there is SOME jazz there I guess.

The Steven Wilson Cover Version boxset has arrived.

Starting with Cover Version VI - The mystery track is... Winker

As with all CV releases it's been a gentlemens agreement not to reveal the new track. I'm continuing that protocol allowing those awaiting delivery their surprise.

BTW, the CD sleeve artwork is wonderfully retro.

Enjoy
