Finally getting this

It has to be LOUD. My bad.
And you have to sing along and you'll find you Can't Get It Out Of Your Head - it really is quite magnificent - or to quote the great late Fluff - best album of the 70s - not 'arf.

Smile That's a lot of albums.

A trip down memory lane for 50 year olds.

Holy ----! This CD is out of print and Amazon is asking $55? I have a virtual perfect vinyl given to me by a friend. Spanky McFarlan must have produced a classic, it is really strange and a wonderful peak into the early 60s

hey Matt I just bought that Earle recording, haven't heard it yet.

Good early Earle. Much like the rest of us he looks a wee bit different 24 years after that cover photo was taken.

This album has been growing on me and now I can't stop listening to it. Mihaela Ursuleasa seems to have it all: charm, vivaciousness, drama, expressiveness, rhythmic drive, soul.... The title of the album "Piano & Forte" refers to the contrasts of Soft (Piano) & Loud (Forte). This is especially apropos concerning the Beethoven. I'm very fond of her Brahm's. Also, credit should be given to the very nicely recorded sound. Really a nice recital with an enjoyable and contrasting program. Highly recommended if your interest is in piano music !!! By the way, she was the 1995 winner of the Clara Haskil Competition.

Not a great fan of R&B anymore but she has a lovely voice. Did quite a bit of driving today & listened to this a lot.

Thanks to a reminder from Fred Simon, I went to dig these two albums up from my collection. Lovely music that I have not listened to for about a couple of years.

A nicely recorded gem of an album.
