Jesper Bodilsen (member of the Stefano Bollani Trio) - Short Stories for Dreamers. Very relaxing and melodic with Ulf Wakenius on guitar.

This is the last one. Smile

Is it any good? Yes it's superb once you actually get the vinyl out of the book. For anyone who doesn't know The Delmonts were a '60s band that morphed into the Fabulous Hofner Bluenotes.
This a fiction and Chris Rea made up the groups, the back story and the music, and toured it a couple or maybe 1 of year(s) ago.
On the tour he was his own support band ie the Delmonts supported the Bluenotes/him.

Vinyl is of the Delmonts, so think Shadows, Ventures, that '60s ilk of instrumental guitar bands.
I can't remember what the Bluenotes sounded like. I'll have to wait for the 3 CDs.

Anyone got any 10" anti-static sleeves?

Vinyl 1 second side last track has 2 really bad bursts of distortion. Actually the 1st disc SQ is worse than the 2nd.

I'll try the easing of the sleeves.

They have kept all the wrong things from the '60s, like having to take your LPs back 3 or 4 times to get a flat or quiet one.

2nd LP, 2nd side is worse than the 1st, and it's warped.

[ADD] Epic CD @ 1990

Another wonderful album that i used to own in vinyl (purchased new in 1979) brings back some interesting memories from the late 70's.
I deliberately bought this older pre-owned cd to avoid the later digitally remastered type, this 'mastered' one from 1990 is quite good this respect imo, very happy with it.
Great playing this loud while i clean up some more pre-owned records that arrived in the post this morning : )

Eek!

A suitably-sized Allen key is a much safer bet for gently easing tight spindle holes, both by applying a more even pressure thus keeping it circular, and also less risk of slip and cutting record/self.
