If there are more tapes like this one from the American recording sessions than I'm good with a VII as well.

Read the small print on the label at the bottom right corner of the album cover. Good album though.

My favorite Jean-Michel Jarre album and the music that ignited my loved of analogue keyboards and electronic music.

Ah you ....one of the few I do not have as it has long been OOP. Anyway, it is, I think, going to be released snap, crackle and pop free sometime this year so I look forward to it

I remember buying it on release day (20/5/81) many years back now and wondering what the hell had happened. It was so different to Oxygene and Equinoxe and was a little disappointing at first all those years ago. But it is an excellent album now I have got the hang of it - it quickly became a favourite of mine.
Adrian I was 10 when it was released, does that make you feel any better?
21st century high grade Synth Pop.

Not really - I was just (by a few weeks) old enough to drive to the record store

New one for me. Enjoying it so far. Bit of a 'grower' im thinking, but very good.

One for anyone who thinks you dont need high quality audio to listen to 'electronic music'
Be prepared for a slight shock to the system (sic)

Had to ban myself from having it on in the background at work. No work got done - just kept getting sucked in. Never thought I would get into stuff like this - but I found it totally infectious. Acoustic instruments that are used in sequence lines in an almost minimilist way - brilliant. Just do not know what 'pigeon hole' to put it in - it aint dance for certain.
PS - you started me on Porcupine Tree in December - it has been expensive since then.
Hope you get on with this.

I was twice as old as Lontano when it was released.

Now a quick taster on Spotify of:-

Very promising I'll have to listen louder tomorrow.
