Taken By Trees "Open Field"

On 180gm vinyl:-
Does anyone else have this album?
There are quite a few distortions/overloads can anyone confirm the quality (or lack of)?
Now a library CD, which I don't remember ordering:-

If you like that, this is a very nice album of him playing Bill Evans compositions:

Hi Haim
As you may not see the other threads and may be interested, be aware Edna is releasing a Chopin recording in March.
Enjoy your Sunday - it is spring here, flowers are out, mid 60's F for tomorrow. You have had the type of winter weather this year that I remember fondly as a kid back in the Midwest.
best regards

I always meant to buy this - just because I knew the song together with L. Cohen, and found it beautiful. Now I have it, and it sounds great right from the very first seconds.
cheers

Took the Genesis off , too much like a PC album.
Now on CD :-
He plays acoustic guitar on this one.East and West musicians plus Brazilian musicians guest.
Dave Grusin and Bob James are the only ones I had herd of though.

Hi Jeff,
No spring around here yet but I am enjoying the icicles decor hanging from the gutters.
Thanks for the Edna Stern notice. I still did not have a chance to get her Schumann disc.
Regards,
Haim

Stefan - this is a super album IMHO and one of my more regularly played classical albums. I'll be interested to hear what Haim thinks.

Another one that looks interesting… What is this ? All around the beautiful Bach Chiacona ?
