Slayer - Reign In Blood, on thin'n'flexy 80s vinyl.
Sourced from the 'Bay. There's plenty of LPs on there described as "excellent" condition that look like somebody's been gardening with them. This was actually as good as described.

Told myself I wasn't buying another Four Tet album, but then I heard the single.*![]()
* All nine minutes of Love Cry can be found here. Probably my new favourite release of 2010.
Chief,
I thought you might crumble!
Have you heard the Mosca remix of this single? Stumbled across it on Mary Anne Hobbs' show - it is EPIC!
Hey reubs,
I heard the album and thought when did Four Tet get good again? Probably when he made Moth/Wolf Club.
I've heard the Joy Orbison and Roska mixes of Love Cry (that link mentions Mary-Anne Hobbs too) though I've just seen there's a Mosca remix of Sing from There Is Love In You.
Now I'm confused, but so long as it's not Rusko, I'm ok with it... : )
Cheers for clearing that up for me Chief. I even have the Love Cry digital download on iTunes so I should have known. Think Sing must be the next single to have heard the Mosca remix - made me pay enough attention to subscribe to the Low End Theory podcast - Mosca seems to be affiliated with them.

Best way, Adrian. I'm sure that's why she chose to release this as a triple CD, when the amount of music could easily have been accommodated on a double.

Fink - Distance and Time
Just a quick whiz thru tonight. More time tomorrow to absorb the 37 minutes in a comfy chair. Sounds promising...
What sort of music is it Denis?
Hope you are good

Diccus
Well his guitar style has hints of John Martyn (picking + looping) and tonight his voice reminded me of Lewis Taylor & Newton Faulkner.
Watch Fink on Morning Becomes Eclectic (especially "Blueberry Pancakes") and you might reach the same conclusion as me. He's mustard

Sort of Revolution arrived today and I'll give it justice by listening tomorrow.
The land of Fink is here.
Hope you are well also - Enjoy
Denis

How did you get on with it Diccus. If you are not into the lets play improv jazz then you might not like it. But what ever you do play from about 12.56 minutes of track 2 up till about 24 minutes. It is some of the most beautiful music ever written.
