I agree, James, I like it very much as well. It is a tried and true and somewhat-unique formula, no need to change in my opinion. Hope you are feeling a bit better.

Thanks for good wishes, Jeff, and commiserations with Munch - I'm with you there chap (missed Gomez gig last year because of round one of my back probs). Had letter today, I'm to go for a consultation to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital of all places, just awaiting date.

James

Hi Stu, sounds as fresh as ever, although from roughly 35 years ago, they could jam pretty well, early exposures to jazz sounds for me.

Sorry you are hurting, hang in there, as you always do.

Inspired by a film I just watched (Sin Nombre) with Marcelo Zarvos composing the music for it.

James my wife has 6 titanium screws and chicken wire which hold her spine together and she works almost 24/7 and has done since she got the op. Hope everything goes ok for you.

Debs,
What do you think of it?
Stu
It is very complicated with it's studio driven finish, and demands a very good system to really bring out the best qualities. It certainly shows up some inadequacies on my system!
My LP copy is odd, most of it okay but a small section somewhere in the middle of each record side there lies a lot of surface noise that gradually intrudes (snap crackle and pop) and then goes away again. Never known an LP quite like this one! Confused

Debs

Debs,

I will check my CD version for snap, crackle and pops as they be deliberate.

No Oliver just the normal standard. A quick scan of the list of BNW cat no shows that only 1 Gene Harris disc was listed for release however they dropped it from the schedule.

Have you got a copy of Three Sounds- Good Deal if not email me as I have a spare on BNW?
