Denis - I had a quick listen to Airbag and quite liked what I heard. Anyway, here is some more Norwegian music from guitar master Rypdal.

It's a very good album. I saw them play it live many years ago and it was an outstanding, atmospheric show. Arild Andersen is my favourite bass player.

Redshift - 'Ether'
Finishing of a good evening with this. If you dont have it then it will cost a fair bit when you eventually find it.
Obviously using Tangerine Dream as a springboard - Redshift still make real electronic music as it used to be.

Steve - it is available for FLAC download from musiczeit.com. Although I am a CD man, I have downloaded quite a few FLAC's from this excellent site. I must give this one a spin!

Just read another 5 star review of this album, this time in the Financial Times.

LOL - yes, Mark did point this out to me, but I would then need to find something to store this 'flac' stuff on and then something to play it back with! I'm lucky enough to have an original disc- it took me a lot of years to track down 'Downtime' but it arrived a couple of weeks back.
MusicZeit do have some veryinteresting stuff available though I must admit.

All the first, about half the second, and maybe a couple from the third...

A pretty weak or patchy effort from Porcupine Tree - comparatively so.

Something a lot better

Discovered this when I lived in NYC. Not sure they ever did anything else. Anybody else have this or know anything about them
