Read some excellent reviews of it and I like some of what I have heard so far but not sure about it though. Not so keen on the orchestra. I need to listen a bit more to see if it will get a lot of airplay or not. It's not like his trio stuff.

Darn good cutting room bits in my book, but I know exactly what you mean.

Franz Liszt played by Aldo Ciccolini (recording from 1961, 1968, 1969, Steinway piano)

Franz Liszt was simply an amazing composer and human being. He took life and put it to music (like every great composer!).

Friedrich Schiller once said that all beauty in art is merely bait for the truth. Every stage of a man's life can be found in this music here and so the older one gets the clearer this becomes. What a remarkable journey to take with Liszt.

Some more excellent cajun music. Both are BFAF.

Ulf (along with Youn Sun Nah) supported Dan Berglund at the concert I saw of his last night. He came on and played a tribute track to E.S.T. This album, Love is Real is Ulf playing the music of E.S.T.

Emily Barker and The Red Clay Halo - Despite The Snow

Tool 'Lateralus' and 'Denver 2002' (soundboard recording).
Why? Because music does not get much better than Tool in 2001/2.

One of my all time favorite titles for an album, from 1970 and people thought Hendrix & Coltrane were "way out". Full Improvational Jazz from the originals.

Derek Bailey - Guitar, Han Bennink - Percussion & Evan Parker - Saxophones

Fantastic record - I notice you can pre-order a copy of the second print in the Amazon: I managed to get it $12 inc p&p from Canada - shop around. However it is worth every penny of the Amazon asking price.

This opening track pops the cherry in my ear pussy, for sure: Sleep Deprivation. Best played at 11 because it gets off to a quiet start.
