Ha ha. Dean, as this post of mine down the bottom of the page from a couple of months back shows, I just knew they'd get you with that one. I must have played it at least four times since yesterday, and I'm loving r ess as I type.

On a similar theme, the F album I posted late last night comes in three parts on five slabs of vinyl - I think you might like it.

I'm too lazy to turn all those records over, so I got the cd!

Man, am I that transparent Smile or are you psychic? I was sent a pre order offer from Warp a few months back but resisted until today, I like to buy from shops so they stay open and Rough Trade West we always save me a copy. I know it'll be a grower this one just like Chiastic Slide was.

This vinyl lark is getting expensive waiting on Massive Attack's new one to be released as well.

Did you see the other new relaese I posted earlier CC its a cracker of a comp its called Minimal Wave Tapes Volume One? you might like it.

Now we're talking. That looks ace.

Dean, I looked up your Minimal Wave Tapes earlier, and don't think I recognised anyone on it. However, I've noticed you've been listening to G*****s lately, so your judgement's obviously clouded a little just now (!) so I'll have to see if I can find a few tracks somewhere before giving it a go.

As for Heligoland, yeah, the vinyl certainly looks lavish enough, but having listened to the album just before it came out, I cancelled my order. I really wanted to like it as well.

Thats the point CC they are rare tracks that were only available on self made tapes and self produced vinyl.

Haim - have had this one for years and never really played it properly. I was very impressed with it last night - excellent. It has now gone out of print at ECM but there are still some copies around at amazon UK for instance. Worth getting.

The "smoother" but classy end of ECM. BigH, you might even enjoy this. Great to see Jason Rebello making his debut on the label.
