I'm currently listening to this album through my old Mission Cyrus One amp which is held together with sellotape and love but the wonderful timeless quality of this album just leaps out. Brilliant album ( and respect to my old Cyrus 1)

Don't know whether you know this one, but my favourite R & D Thompson recording is this one from a BBC Radio 3 concert in 1993...



Just the two of them acoustic. Fantastic stuff.

I couldn't get on with AneBrum, that strange (to me) modulation and vibrato in her voice puts me off.I couldn't hear enough of her on Saturday, I though Melanie was better.
