It's a typical JB album, nowt wrong with that. It's fun to spot the various influences (ie nicked almost riffs).
This is the 2nd time I've had a chance to listen and I like it.
Blue and Evil (Kashmir) is my favourite I reckon.

and this really is an improvement on an already good sounding CD.

Glad I took the punt on an SACD.

Tonight we had Jennifer Warnes "Famous Blue Raincoat" on gold CD and Joni Mitchell "Hits" on CD. Earlier in the shop I listened to the new Barb Jungr CD from Naim and the deluxe CD version of "TomTom Club".

They are Hybrids.

This is the most expensive bit (bits) of vinyl that I have ever bought but my only regret is that I didn't do it earlier. Shameful really. But wonderful too.

Less convinced by this one:

But this one I love. And I discovered (for myself) Seb Rochford through listening to Stan and Clark Tracey at the Bull's Head. Innovative, skillful, vernacular. As it should be.

a CDS3!

what I was alluding to was the reticence I have buying SACD hybrids because I think I am not getting the full value by not having SACD playback.

As recently I have got a few classical albums that are SACD hybrids I decided to give the MOFI ones a go.

I'm glad I did Smile

Must check out Surfer Rosa and Bossanova.

On Spotify:-

Oooh a new Janis? Well at least the first track.

It's always good to find a "new" lady singer, she should fit right in with my other females.
Is it her on guitar as well?
Thanks JamieWednesday.
