My favorite album of all time sounds better than ever through my new Allaes.

I personally didn't "do" disco, I did work behind the bar of one , The Bear Pit in Crawley, so no need (or want) of white satin anythings. I seem to remember trying to get several white satin things off their wearers, (you would have been safe Miles).

I thought I'd give this a go on Spotify:-

It didn't last long.

Hi MilesSmiles.
What exactly is this? It looks very interesting, do they all play at once? I'm puzzled.
obliged for any info. Thanks, Paul.

Paul,
it's just as is says on the package, 40 cellos playing several pieces, quite amazing actually as you wouldn't think it's just cellos when you listen to it casually.

I wish Steve would have remastered the black album as well.

2 and 3 are a bit more tricky, but probably Selling England then Trick of the Tail, or maybe Gabriel or maybe Kate Bush, but lately Steely Dan have seen more air time than anyone on the hi-fi.

It might work better with a few G&Ts.

I've neglected this album over the years and rediscovered it when I bought the DCC.

Bought this the other day based on it appearing here.
If you like it there is as well a 'live' version which I play even more often than the studio album, the opening track of the live album is stunning and the SQ is reference material.
SQ is ????. Sorry a beginner here (Sound Quality?)

Probably one of my favorite albums of 2009! I can't believe it took me almost 6 years to fully appreciate our very own Joss Stone

Tina Dickow (Internationally: Tina Dico) Danish female singer/songwriter. Much awarded back home and I guess frequently used for "testing hi-fi". But don't be fooled. The music has edge and message. Here's a random youtube link:
youtube
I'm listening to her latest soundtrack-based album. A bit more slick - in lack of a better word - than before, but still worth a listen.
