If it stays like this I'm planning on an early morning snowman building adventure in our garden. Cool

Here is the Amazon Review...

One of the most anticipated and capable British debuts of 1999 arrived via Wigan, Lancashire in the form of this late night, blissed-out music with an edge. Witness are built around the delightfully understated droning psychedelic slide guitar of Ray Chan and the simmering laments delivered in the stoner, near-falsetto vocals of Gerard Starkie. Refuting the chorus-verse-chorus structure, Witness songs spiral and sprawl, yet rarely meander off course. Ultimately, Before The Calm pulls between being a rustic Verve, a more guitar-based Spiritualized and a lighter--yet still superbly atmospheric--British take on Lambchop and the quieter side of Son Volt. Subsequent live performances suggest that they've gone onto a higher and even more consistent level, but this still is a strong foundation from which to build.

I have just found the album (Witness - Before the Calm) on Spotify

Herbert von Karajan's 1958 recording of 'The Planets' with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. There are errors in the interpretation of the score, clattering chairs and some tape hiss remains from the analogue tape but it remains a unique recording.

It is coupled with Pierre Monteux conducting the LSO in a performance of Elgar's 'Enigma Variations' which I believe is only bettered by Sir Adrian Boult's reading.
