The best Motian album I have heard in a long while. I much prefer Chris Potter sax to Lovano.

Nice choice Gordon - they released that on vinyl in Japan only. I have never seen it in the UK but did bump into a copy that I bought in Paris.

Cool, mine is an mp3 download from Amazon.

I am intrigued by the music emerging from Norway right now.

Slightly off topic for the music room but may I recommend a monthly magazine called 'Monocle'.

Monocle is a global briefing covering international affairs, business, culture and design.

A brilliant magazine which I think you and others on this forum would enjoy. Avaliable from WHSmith on the 15th of each month. (Also online but not as good).

PS-The Monocle shop has stuff to die for... here

Agree - and if you like OTR, the newish Live From Nowhere Vol 4 is quite excellent. Indebted to PatK for bringing OTR to my attention.

I bought the 2CD + DVD variant of the above on the way home from work, and am so pleased I did. It's the first time I've heard Karen's voice on a Naim system, and it sounds fantastic. Richard's arrangements aren't too shabby either. Great, timeless music.
