How does that compare to the Hudson Project album?
Different Abercrombie eras. The one I just played is more "European" and ECMish, so more laid back.
Both good albums. He has a great back catalogue on ECM worth checking out as well as a stash of good albums not on ECM.
Abercrombie is a great guitarist and I think when I return later today from today's excursion out I am going to play some of his albums. But before I go, time for

Cheers
Flettster
Personally I love it. It is not as good as The Sparrow but definitely worth a purchase.

I think there is even a DVD of this performance. The group members also comment about the composition / arrangement process, as well as the experience of playing together. Saving up my money for it. By the way, I purchased a copy of the Hudson Project at Barnes and Noble, Washington DC. Just heard it on my laptop thus far. Will put it aside for my Supernait tomorrow.

Ah! young padawan you have chosen wisely the road to discovering the full delights of modern electronic music are now at your fingertips. Remember if you decide to investigate Richard D James AKA: Aphex Twin further he is famous for inventing the sub genre, Drill 'n' Bass

Not that I've ever been to one, but that's the sort of track that should get played at hifi shows. (Maybe it is?)
Now I wish to speak to all men and women engaged in violence... and then it kicks in.
A little before my time, but yeah, a choon.

First time I heard it in a club 88 you should have seen the reaction people genuinely went MENTAL. I'm afraid its a delicate 12" and doesn't leave my house it is 22 years old now so will not get played a a HiFi show, maybe I should get a CD of it? As for the 808 State CC that one slipped through I must investigate, I have Prebuild though. Also if meant the Ceephax Acid Crew that's Tom Jenkinson's (Squarepusher) younger brother Andy.
Playing this Disco biscuit now....

I only got Newbuild last year myself. There's a link to the second best track you maybe know already if you click the cover I posted, and just for munch, here's the Aphex version of the same track.
As for Ceephax Acid Crew, if he Tom Jenkinson's brother, I'll definitely have to investigate.
One more tune, before I'm off out to get some sun...

An underrated singer song writer IMO.
His vocals have been described as somewhere between Dylan, a dirt road and grit in a chainsaw.
