Mauricio Kagel - Kantrimusik
Moderately challenging contemporary classical.
Stear clear if you dislike wailing sopranos!

Presto Classical are doing 20-30% off lots of contemporary classical CDs - including stuff on ECM and Winter + Winter. Not huge savings, but worth having. I'll be ordering at least a couple of CDs from the site.

My goodness! Looks as though an online sympathy card is in order!
Be sure and flush your system with quality content as soon as is possible!

Whilst reading 'Flowers for Hitler' by Leonard Cohen which might be just a bit too much misery, pain and suffering even for a hardcore Cohen fan like me.

Didn't know this one, went first to iTunes Store to listen to the tracks, found it beautiful, downloaded "Bianca" (and listen to it, now), and ordered it used on Amazon. Thanks for the recommendation, Haim !

cheers
Stefan

This duo work with Vasconcelos also has "Bianca" on it. Great reason to listen to the whole disc. Have failed to do this for too long (October 2009, iTunes says… Winker )

cheers
