I'll join you before I'll have to get on my first conference call of the day - many meetings cancelled this week as folks are stuck in various places.

Listened to like 300 or so CDs since Friday - even had no time to eat that whole day.
You probably guessed right - I bought a new piece of equipment. Winker
Yes, I bought myself a new DAC. Not the NAIM one, unfortunately - the Croatian importer is slacking big time. I "settled" for Ayre QB-9, and even straight out of the box it sounded amazing.
I was dancing, singing, screaming, playing air guitar and drums with a big smile on my face the whole day, especially when listening to my all-time favorite band - Led Zeppelin.

Source first. That doesn't sound that silly anymore.

Ah, yes. The first song I listened to was a MP3(!) from M. Ward and it sounded fabulous. Winker

Still waiting for my new Mark Egan album to arrive. In the meantime, listening to Joe Beck's 'Finger Painting'. Egan's the bassist on this one.

And also this Joe Beck classic, 'Just Friends', with Mark Egan again as part of the trio.

It is a real shame that Joe Beck passed on a couple of years ago. He produced lovely tones on his electric guitar.

Just home in time to say that'd be Arcade Fire's Neon Bible. A pal of mine has the deluxe vinyl, which is ace.

If only someone would start a "guess the album cover" thread (!)

I might need some of your help with the rarer Heino releases, I suppose.

Inspired by Howard, no prizes for guessing what I'm listening to...
