The best JT album, imho of course.

Doug,

Sounds to me like you are in a scherzophonic mood.

By the way, what do you think of these guys?

Haim, it's inCredOble how perceptive your ImpromptU comment was! I'm still pretty much in a ScherzOphonic mood and there is nothing BAllaDe about that....

I cannot recall hearing the Gaurneri Trio doing Beethoven but thanks for the lead. I will certainly pursue this set if I can find it!

arold Budd, Simon Raymonde, Robin Guthrie, and Elizabeth Fraser 'The Moon And The Melodies'
Not a big fan of Elizabeth Frazer's voice, but this album has a lovely melancholy feel.

I bought my copy of this back in 2001 in a small record shop in the backstreets of St Tropez. Great music for cruising down to the beach Cool

There are very few 'best of' albums in my collection but this one is required listening at Chez Voltaire...

On Vinyl, not cd as picture suggests.

A few purchases this afternoon in Borderline Brighton. Record shops for dad, pier for the kids, nice meal for all. Bumped into Mr and Mrs BigH47 cruising the record stores.

Was not really sure about this but decided to buy it anyway. The setlist is a bit corny.
