On a journey in Middle Earth...

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Soundtrack. Not the best soundtrack ever, but still a pleasant journey there...!

Managed to get through the first 30 minutes of Avatar (I just do not get it). Have now excused myself and plan to enjoy the evening with some music instead Smile

Thanks to Bruce for posting the link in Biggus's National thread.

Ok, I can't resist, me too. First track sounds particularly anarchic and grand Razz Thanks for using my first name Chief, it doesn't get much of an airing on this forum Eek

Watched it yesterday evening, at last, on a small CRT TV. No WOW factor then, only the story. Wait, what story?? Found the movie pleasant nonetheless. And, for some reason, I really dig the soundtrack.

It's popular with the kids so I guess mission accomplished there but not for me! So some soothing Bossa Nova from Eden Atwood.

I knew you would, heh heh. As I said in your thread, it sounds very like The National, if you know what I mean.

Knowing how much you like them, I expect you're past the point where you can be objective about a new album of theirs, but I have to say it sounds pretty good to me.

And now...
