I'm glad I bought this disc recently.
Hi Oliver
It is excellent, as recommended by Gordon, as you know. I ultimately want to get the other two- Cotton and Pretty World, which as I understand it are thought of as making a trilogy with Mercy.
Looking forward to your audiophile disc write-up.

Haven't seen any posts about Kaskade. This is probably one of his best albums. Great tripped out house.

Earlier: Sadao Watanabe: Orange Express & The Crusaders, Free as the Wind
Old tunes but I got really clean copy on vinyls today!

I am so pleased you are both enjoying Mr Baker!
PS-IMHO The albums only form a trilogy in the sense that Sam essentially recorded a triple length album in three parts. Each album more than stands up in its own right.

Not played this in years but will put in the car this morning. Debut album from Silje back in 1990 featuring Pat Metheny. Tell Me Where You're Going.

Staying on the Balke road, but adding Andalusian touch and (importantly) Jon Hassell's trumpet:
If you have the chance, put on "Ondas Do Mar de Vigo" and enjoy !
