I do like the BIS SACDs I have, might have to get a few more of them.

Enjoying Duo Yaara Tal & Andreas Groethuysen playing the Franz Schubert's complete Piano Music For Four Hands over 7 CD's.

Minutes ago the great Fantasie in f minor and now the equally wonderful Divertissement à l'hongroise in g minor.

Is there anyone out there who wants to come over and play some duets for real? Wonderful music from a time when that's what people did in their homes - played music...

Couldn't find a cover .jpg of the 7 cd set from Sony Classical so this picture with a lovely Hamburg Steinway will just have to do.

I'm having a little Ian Dury revival after watching ‘Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll’ on the flight back from the US. Can highly recommend this biopic.
PS: Andy Serkis is amazing as Ian Dury.

Doug,

I just realized that I have their Vol 4 disc on the Sony label. I had it for over ten years and I don't think that I listened to it more than twice. I will have to dig it out today.

A 1960 recording of Vladimir Sofronitsky playing on the same piano which his father-in-law, Scriabin, used to compose his eight sonatas.

Doug, to your attention.

Christohpe Pomel:

Gorgeous album covers. Who are the musicians and what is the name of the albums? What is the music like?
